Story behind your band/artist name: "Some Never Really Get SNRG" is a message of understanding... the understanding that we may nevertruly understand one another; BUT that should never deter us from attempting to connect with others that seem different.  We created the SomeNever Really Get [ _____ ] idea as an open-ended statement that encourages you to become an active participant in our world. Finish the statement, but don't just fill it in--- FEEL in the blank; and let everyone know what Some Never Really Get about you.  SNRG is also affectionately referred to as "The Super Barrio Brothers"; Aaron “eyespk” and Beau “L.A.S.T.O.N.E.” Canlas. This independent song-writing duo grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, but their cultural identity is rooted across the world in the province of Pampanga. They have resided in the Philippines for years while maintaining their very own radio and television program. They are excited to be back in North America to promote their second official album, set to be released on March 17, 2019!  They have extensive experience performing at the following colleges; Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, Princeton, Rutgers University, Florida State University just to name a few. They were featured on an entrepreneurship panel at Georgetown University - and headlined at FIND, Inc. Dialogue at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro

At least 3 interesting/entertaining facts about the band related to persons/events in Washington DC area: L.A.S.T.O.N.E. was born in California, but eyespk was born at Walter Reed in Washington, D.C.

They grew up at River Place (the red brick apartment buildings) in Rosslyn, Virginia. 

SNRG was the first hip-hop act ever to perform within the confines of the State Department. 

Our music merchandise has been known to bring SOUL to the city... you can ask Tony Perkins of Fox 5.

And our merch was also featured at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park [The National Zoo] in D.C.
