What part of the DC region is the artist tied to and how? Where is the artist's current home base if not DC :We've all been living here in northern Virginia (Fairfax County) for about a decade or more.

At least 3 interesting/entertaining facts about the band related to persons/events in Washington DC area: 1.) We're actually a band but aspire to be growing collective (looking for new members). We are hoping to inspire other DC area musicians to join us on tracks or at gigs and take on social topics in songs (many are doing that already). If you have a voice, use it!
2.) We played for years together at a UU congregation in ad-hoc cover bands doing small charity events before coming up with this project to play for the wider community. M4TR is basically dad rock that got out of hand because of the current insanity gripping the country. We ain't spring chickens.
3.) Our first album is being produced at Innovation Studio because we were so impressed with Dave Mallen's interview on DC Music Rocks! Our EP of six songs hits stores on July 4.

Anything else we should know, or you want to share: We're not a partisan band and don't sing lyrics trying to divide the nation any further. We're about hope and healing and using tongue-in-cheek lyrical commentary and funky beats to get people moving and make society stronger - that's our entire vibe. (That being said we're not a huge fan of 45.)
