Band/Artist Name: In Your Memory

Recommended if you like: A Day To Remember, Paramore, Underoath

Story behind your band/artist name: "In your memory" isn't a deep title. It's very interpretive. I feel the it reflects the importance of memory. Like when you hear an old song and it takes you back to when you were young. Deja Vu, stuff to that effect. Innate and subliminal. In your memory.

Band Members: Omar Veras, Casey Reid, Tloy Mckoy, Alexander Scott, and Jonathon Bonifacio

What part of the DC region is the artist tied to and how? Where is the artist's current home base if not DC : Out of the 5 of us, 3 are native to DC proper, with 2 in NE DC and one in the Ft. Totten area. Myself and the singer reside in College Park, MD, where I go to school We often play all of our hometown shows at Rock and Roll hotel.

At least 3 interesting/entertaining facts about the band related to persons/events in Washington DC area: I'm really winging it on this one, pretty interesting question...

1. Myself, Casey, am from Cleveland, Ohio and was relocated to several different places after enlisting in the Navy. After being relocated to Bethesda, MD, where I worked at a military medical school, I looked to join a band. Within a year of that time, I joined In Your Memory and we played Van's Warped Tour at the Merry Weather Pavillion.

2. In Your Memory is one of a kind in the DC scene as a "warped tour-esque" style rock band. We really hope to reignite rock in the market.

3. We have a lot of diversity in our band that you wouldn't expect out of a rock band but it makes us a family. Our demographic helps to talk a lot about the message that we are sending with our next release. A release which we recorded in LA with Jeff Sahyoun from Letlive, a popular rock act.

Anything else we should know, or you want to share: We have a really awesome holiday show coming up that we want to talk about on 12.23 at Rock and Roll Hotel. If you want to chat more then feel free to call me! 4405703772
