FEATURED IN EPISODES

INFO

What part of the DC region is the artist tied to and how? Where is the artist's current home base if not DC? : Went to American University, graduated in 2009. Currently living in Arlington, VA.

Atleast 3 interesting/entertaining facts about the band that are related to persons/places/things/events that happened in the Washington DC area. Give us fun stuff, not normal bio stuff!: 1) When I started pre-production on my first EP, one of my biggest influences at the time (and still today) is Rachael Yamagata, who was born and raised in this area. As luck would have it even though I didn't know this upon teaming up with a new producer, the EP's producer had a connection Yamagata that resulted in my finally meeting her for the first time in 2012. I was so star-struck. It was slightly embarassing but I regret nothing. Year's later, Yamagata and I have a unique bond and it's always great catching up with her at shows.

2) In fact, Yamagata and another one of my favorite singer-songwriters (Tony Lucca, who has family in this general Virginia area), ended up being the first two people to ever receive physical copies of my debut EP... which I handed to them at the 9:30 Club one night before my official EP release concert in DC this past Winter in November 2015. Which, as a songwriter and music fan, is one of the coolest feelings. They've both been tremendously supportive of me over the past few years as I've gotten to know them and I'm very grateful for ever conversation we've ever at.

3) Fun Fact: I covered the Washington Nationals for five seasons as a freelance writer for a few different websites (We Love DC, MASN Sports, the Washington Examiner, District Sports Page) and one of my fondest memories was being sprayed by Gio Gonzalez with champagne in the Nats locker room after they clinched their division title for the first time. Being able to stand on the field that night watching as players huddled and hugged each other with their families and children by their side was beautiful. I also covered the longest playoff game in MLB history in 2014 as the Nats went on to lose that one. It's a roller-coaster with them but baseball is fun and so is this team.

Anything else we should know, or you want to share?: I have a new lyric video for a song off and a new single coming. It's all very exciting!
